For some reason, this thing doesn't send me an e-mail when I get comments....not sure how to cope with that. To date, we have NO chickens on site - currently we dwell in town, and work on building the farm. I would most likely purchase my chickens from someone nearby that raises them. We have a local egg farmer right close by. From what I've heard there's no real secret to the best breeds and so on.
