Candles can give some heat as w...Great Post Tabby! Candles can give some heat as well if you seal off a small room if the grid goes down in the winter. Personally I prefer my LED lanterns because their is no risk of fire. I have a blind cat who can make out a little bit of light so I'm worried he will be curious of the light and knock it over. I do have a plan to help protect against that using some Campbell soup cans and some small nails, I'll be sure to post the "how to" on the blog for how I make them! Thanks for helping me know how to choose a good quality candle! I've had some so called "Emergency Candles" from Canadian Tire but they didn't last an hour of testing, must have been cheap! I like those sterno style candles since they last up to 18 hours and some last even longer!<br /><br />Good to see you've got another computer!!!
